Bad Art

Hot Air Exhibition

This was the first project with Bad Art, an art collective that produces transgressive exhibitions that promote audience interaction. The brief was to create a short film, capturing the installation process at the warehouse space, audience interaction with the artworks during the opening night, sponsors, and interviews with key artists and Bad Art representatives.

The production was shot over 3 days at the Manor Space Warehouse in London. We used timelapse to capture the different inflatable works being installed and creative B-roll footage of the artworks and audience interaction. Story structure was led through the variety of interviews with artists from the exhibition, and the Bad Art Directors.

“The edited videos were absolutely brilliant...Tom managed to perfectly grasp the creative vision”

— Anna Choutova, Bad Art Director”
